Hello and welcome to Lavender&Cocoa, a blog about my adventures in food, wine, and design! I am a twenty- thirty-something living in a very serious city with a very serious job. I am starting this blog to have some respite from all the seriousness and have a creative outlet. I enjoy eating what my husband makes me (he’s an awesome cook — and no, cooking is not his day job. He’s just got some mad culinary skills.); savoring a lovely glass (or two or three) of (typically) inexpensive (i.e. less than $10) wine; and of course, looking at pretty things to outfit our home sweet home (present or future). I’m a social butterfly, so please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment or two.
Why Lavender&Cocoa? Because it sounds lovely and delicious!
